This doll is 14 inches tall.

The only shirt pattern I could think of was a t-shirt, so named because it is knit in two pieces that look like “T”s. The pattern is copyright Anna Merlini, you can use it to make your own doll clothes but please give me credit for it and link back to this blog. You can’t use the pattern to make doll clothes to sell.

Doll Baby Shirt
Make 2 alike

Using 3.75mm needles, Cast on 40 sts
Beg P row, st st 11 rows
next row: cast off first 10 sts K wise
next row: cast off first 10 sts P wise. 20 sts rem.
Beg K row, st st 17 row (end K row)
K 3 rows
Cast off K wise

Sew the two “T”s together, right sides facing, then turn right side out.

In the case of the red shirt doll, his arms don’t bend and when raised are too far apart for the shirt to stretch and accommodate for the distance. For this kind of doll the pattern is almost the same.
